Campaign contributions don't get paid directly to candidates, like Bob Stefanowski and Ned Lamont. Instead, candidates form committees, with names like "Ned for CT" and "Bob for Governor" and Ned for CT." Sometimes it's not easy to tell from a committee name who the candidate is, like "Smith for CT." Here you can search for committees by entering part of a candidate's name or part of a committee's name. If you don't come up with any results, use a less specific term, like "Stefanowski" instead of "Bob Stefanowski."
